Seriously thought this could provide absolute proof that 'life' existed on Mars at some point and that in itself would be literally out of this world.

Seems somewhat far fetched and open to a lot of potential failures but if it succeeds will be a significant step forward in terms of humans ability to deliver substantial pay loads to other planets.

I see from the news it landed safely. Invading Mars is an interesting take on it (although probably meant as a joke) Imagine there was some mental underground aliens thinking WTF is this thing, we are under attack!! :panic:
