Has an offer on the table from us. Being told he failed to win a deal on trial at birmingham.

Would be happy if we got him, a more than ample (i.e. better player) replacement for Osbourne IMO.

We should just sign their scouts. How can they be so much better at finding players than us?

Would be really happy if we signed him, big if though.

cant see this happening if we cant afford maybury like were being told what chance have we got of signing any decnt players this summer we have added 4 players 3 off which we now are decent and hopefully the lad from partick will do the job.
Have to say i fear for us this season we need hardman midfield player two wide midfield players and a decent centre forward also im not sure we will get any of these dont think squad has enough quality in it.
We need a player like latapy or zemmama type of player who can make something happen from nothing

Definitely an offer there, whether he accepts is another matter entirely of course.

Would be a very good signing and another that weakens our rivals, like Clancy from Well.

Not holding my breath that it will happen though.

United have as good, if not better midfielders coming through the ranks/signed up. Dont think its weakened them.

Id be happy with Robertson though, hes a good SPL player and would massively improve our midfield. Hopefully this is true and he would be interested.

How many times??

Maybury is not a priority - it's not that we can't afford to offer him a deal it's that we would need to see what is left once we have signed players in positions that are needed most!

do you really beleive we will sign good enough players in areas needed or will we have to put up with the same level of **** as for the last 6-7 years

Hibs transfer dealings over the last few years seem to follow this simple rule of thumb: if he is any good we won't get him- if he is pretty poor we probably will.

6-7 years??!!

Was the CIS cup win not 5 years ago when we had a great team and had had for 2 years leading up to that?

Has he had an offer from Hibs though? Would be interesting to gauge whether we are at least in for a midfielder of that sort of quality.

Robertson, Barry The Crab and Osbourne are not bad midfielders for the championship.

just realised i put 6-7 lol but yes 5 years ago was the best feeling as a hibby 5-1 in cup final nothing since then we are lucky this season as dundee and ross county are in the league as i really fear it will be another mediocre season hope im wrong but we need as previously stated a number of decent players not pish that on one else wants like we have done for the last few years tbh.
This is a great chance for clubs to bridge gap at top look at aberdeen there fans will be excitied with the posotive signings they have made hayes etc.
Hibs need to realise we are a big club time to start acting like one get players off other teams in spl to weaken them and strenghten us at same time

 I'm loving your optomism that Dundee and Ross County are going to be the whipping boys this year. FWIW, I think we'll be OK ie 7th or 8th (which is still not acceptable) this coming season but I think Ross County AND Dundee may well stay up too.
