I Was talking about The Hibee legend(?) that is Humphrey Rudge with a mate today, who else feels that bringing in a player with similar to experience and class to Humphrey when he joined Hibs would compliment McPake and or Hanlon very well next season?

Rudge, Rocastle, Edge, Doumbe, Nicol, Konde, Zambernardi, Gathuessi, Noubissie, Yantorno, Zarabi, get them all snapped up!

I always thought Rudge looked alright personally, in the tiny number of games he ever played. Mowbray didn't seem to rate/like him at all for some reason.

I thought the opposite, the ball was like a hot potato to him, he couldn't wait to get rid of it. The night game at dunfermline he gave one of the worst displays i have witnessed from a central defender. It was 3 nil going on 6.

I can only remember him playing in 2 games.

He was very good in the 'unbeatable' Derby and absolutely shockingly, appalingly, terribly, awfully bad in a 0-3 away defeat to Dunfermilne in the league cup.

Sure he played in more but that's the only 2 I can recall.

Doumbe and Rocastle were pretty decent for Hibs if you ask me bit unfair to lump them in with that lot

Still blame him for giving away 2 late goals against Hearts at Tynie in the 4-4 draw
