Scotsman (Sport): Wawrinka steps in as Federer declines flag duty

ROGER Federer has decided he will not carry Switzerland’s flag at his third straight Olympic opening ceremony, so doubles partner Stanislas Wawrinka has been given the honour. The Swiss Olympic Committee says Wawrinka “fulfills the requirements of this prestigious task”.
