:agree: A source close to me, tells me another 4 red tops could follow them down the pan. There are crisis meetings taking place today, in offices all over the printed media, cut backs are predicted to be wide spread across the industry.

This is a black day for Scottish newspapers.

With the "Scottish Sun" and "Daily Record" set to be liquidated, it could spell doomsday disaster for smaller tabloid firms across the country. Social unrest is imminent. Hibs.net understands.

Fans chief Rupert Bear said, "this has gone on long enough, we want to do the right thing and start from scratch, if that means going head to head with The Big Issue, and North Edinburgh News, we welcome the challenge".
