If someone said 'I have chuckies in my back garden' would you know what they mean?

Post your answer and your geographical location within Scotland. :greengrin

Trying to work out if I was just not paying attention before or if its a west of Scotland thing. :greengrin

Stay just outside of stirling but bathgate originally so kind of in the middle. They are of course stones/chips

I've heard another type of stones being referred to as chuckies ie the player standing in the defensive wall was struck in the chuckies by the ball! Edinburgh

Usually, but not exclusively, quartz pebbles.

Leith/Edinburgh.

Girlfriend said stones. She's from Broughty Ferry.

Thanks for the responses. I'd never heard of them as being the stones in your garden till I was chatting to my friend from falkirk way. Wondered if it was a common word in Edinburgh/Fife direction.

More popular than I'd thought. :aok:
