Who has been the most successful player returning to Hibs after leaving for pastures new? I can think o'connor, sproule, murray, brebner (after loan) riordan with deek proberly being the biggest success.
Also, out of the squad Mowbray had, can you see any of them returning further down the line / end of their career ie fletcher, brown, Thomson, whitty, murphy, jones, Caldwell, boozy! ;-)

Michael Weir and Pat McGinlay.
Hard to predict what will be happening in our game in the next few years with the powers-that-be doing their best to endorse and reabsorb Sordid Sevco into the fold presently, and added to our stock (in terms of Scottish football as a whole) being at an all-time low.
Saying that, I would love to see Fletch back someday but methinks I'm overdosing on wishful thinking.

He was on an S-form with Hibs before he signed professional terms with Hamilton.

One of the ones that left without any Hibs family or geographical connections, so less likely I would imagine.

How many have actually been better in their second spell?
Very few I would suggest.

ian murray and pat mcginley are 2 id from my time. while murray didnt "do" much last season or the one before, when he first rejoined us he was very useful and served his purpose.

I'd say the same. Garry O and Deeko were fairly successful personally but Nid done a good job for a wee while.
