Please follow the link below for the latest Dnipro Appeal Update ..

Dnipro Appeal Update (http://www.dniprokids.com/pdf/Dnipro_Appeal_Sponsors_Update_May_12.pdf)

It is in PDF format and also has some excellent photos from the various trips and events that Dnipro Kids has helped to fund.

Well worth taking a couple of minutes to read to see how the Hibernian community is supporting the work that is done.

A really wonderful read. The work you guys and girls are doing is fantastic.
The photos of the kids in the Hibs strips were great!
Well done to the Dnipro Kids Appeal team.

A huge thanks to Hibs for that.

Got a call from Fife Hyland, just before we headed out on the last trip, to say that they had a load of old stock they wanted to pass on.
The girls loved their mint green strips and the boys were over the moon with their tracksuit tops.

There is a documenatry on BBC4 tonight at 2100 'Ukraine's Forgotten Children'. I listened to Kate Blewett the films reporter/director this morning on Radio 4. Galling that it is happening on a massive scale at the same time as £9000m has just been spent on Euro 2012 related projects. I'll be watching it but it won't be an easy watch I think.

Your report on the other hand.......heartwarming.

That was an interesting documentary, thanks for the heads up.

Although it centred around disabled kids I could still see a lot of similarities with the orphanages that we assist. Professional staff that care is a big problem, especially when wages are so low and there are little or no incentives to improve/progress.
