Which team would you like to play on the opening day?

Personally, Hearts at Easter Road!

Personally I would like to play kilmarnock at home first game and I would want want to play hearts until at least late September as knowing hibs they dont sign anyone until late in the transfer market.

Fixtures announced tomorrow to include a "space" instead of Rangers.

Wouldn't mind playing a space. If we keep the head, we might have a chance.

I think we'd have a good chance of a nil-nil against 'space'.
'x' would give us a doing, though.

I think "space" would beat us.

I would like to play Rangers replacement so Dundee.

Hearts will get a home game so we'll be on the road. Much as I like the idea of that being Dens Park, I have a nasty feeling it'll be a trip to the surviving Ugly Sister.

Team X at Easter Road
.. we might scrape a point.

Name makes them sound like they they have ten players
.. bit like Hibs at the moment

Motherwell away.

Usually a decent Hibs crowd make the trip and there have been a few decent games at Fir Park throughout the years.

Wouldn't mind tannadice, remember being up there a while back on the opening day when we were rotten but won 2-1 with goals from riordan and mcmanus. Good hibs support aswell if I remember

To be honest, would prefer Ross County game to be wee bit later on as they will be fired up for start of season, better in my view to play them 6th/7th game into season when they have suffered a few defeats as, with current squad, think they would beat us. Hopefully, [and i'm sure we will] we will have quite a few new players signed prior to start of season. Would take ICT at E/R as first game though.

Way too optimistic.

I think "space" would beat us.

Correct. Look at the size of it, for a start. With an infinity of clubs to choose players from. Our wee team of local journeymen would get utterly cuffed.

What are the odds on the fixture list showing Celtic at home and Team 12 away, then Team 12 at home, when Celtic are away every week?

Equally they could have Dundee united at home, every time Celtic are at home to cause minimum disruption. Except when Dundee united play Celtic obviously. I'd be worried if they didn't.

Ross County will be at home first game as they won the league.

Id say it was pretty much guaranteed. They would be very stupid to not take that eventuality into account.

I would just like to have a team in place for the first day of the season. No fussy who we play.

If it's 'team 12', it'll be at Easter Road. Celtic will play at home to unfurl the championship flag, and they won;t have them and Team 12 at home on the same day just in case the Huns sneak their way back in.

More likely to be ICT or Ross County away.
