Today there was the Calder Cup for Edinburgh's P4/P5 Primary School teams.
There was some fantastic play on show from the young boys (and the very few girls) that participated.
The tournament was run by Edinburgh City and well done to them for organising it. Well done boys..........and that from someone who has a son that plays for one of the other boys clubs in Edinburgh.
The tournament was won by Fox Covert Primary School. They were two nil down to an impressive Corstorphine Primary School at half time, but completely turned it around in the second half. The goal to go three-two up was as good as you will see at any level - a fantastic cross and a fantastic header. Fox Covert eventually won four-three. Well done to both teams! Corstorphine had some very good players too!
