Just been to the club shop today
Plenty of tops in stock, but when I
Tried to get my surname printed on
Back of the top I was told they had
No letter "o" in stock.it's only one of
Five vowels ffs.
Also shop seems to be full of austrailians
Who don't seem to have a clue about
Customer services/help.
It's not a very enjoyable experience going
Into the shop.especially today for the
Launch of a new kit.
Very poor and low key

That doesn't sound like a joke to me.

It sounds extremely serious, something to rage about for days at least.

I can't imagine much worse, tbh.

I blame Rooney and Ronaldo. Our new signings.

Don't you know there are folk starving in the world and without basic things like water and a roof over their head. They won't feel so bad when they hear of your plight. They may even make donations to compensate you for your inconvenience and grief.

I like the Aussies in the shop. Always seem cheery and helpful when I've been in.

I did spot one of them putting what looked like a very large tube of polo mints in the boot of his car today though. And now I hear the shops out of Os. Interesting.

Buy 2 'c's
Stick one on your new top
Take the other 'c'
Turn it 180 degrees and stick it on top of the first 'c'
And, voila! ...... you've just ruined your new top. :cb

I'm going to avoid the humour on this one.

It's not exactly great customer service to have a customer walk away feeling the staff were unhelpful and not enjoying the experience of shopping in the store, and on launch day to not have the letter "o" in stock, pretty bad.

Of course when your customers are seen as fans who will buy it anyway I guess you can afford to have service like that.

I think this just shows the amateurish attitude isn't solely on the playing side.Agree entirely though I understand it`s close season and folk are looking for some humour till serious stuff starts again . Was in shop the day before final and was amazed at lack of selection and not just cup final stuff - I bought a couple of things out of duty and guilt but if I`d been a visitor with no emotional contact with Hibs would have left shop in less than 20 seconds . I`d felt the same on previous visits in last couple of years but assumed things would have changed . I`ve never been into merchandise ( would love to go back to days of no second shirt ) but buy thinking I`m helping club since I can`t get to many games and also give Hibs pens , bookmarks etc to relatives etc in Spain thinking I`m promoting club but am amazed how quality of shop has fallen in recent years ( I went into shop of Valencia FC a few years ago when Valencia were one of best teams in Europe and was surprised to see that Hibs shop was very superior - I doubt I`d say the same now ) . As I said , merchandise is not an issue for me but OP has a very valid point ( regarding stock on sale - I`ve always found staff friendly and helpful ) and as shop is only a few metres from club offices I assume directors are satisfied that club is doing all it could to maximise merchandise sales and generally promote name of Hibernian FC .

In 2006 I wanted to buy a Zemmama shirt before I even saw him play, and the shop had run out of 'm's and asked me to come back the following week.

M is a common consonant, but I didnt feel enraged. Maybe im an atypical consumer but I went back later and I still have the shirt.

According to the website, the shop doesn't open on a Sunday. If they had, they would no doubt be accused of thinking only of profits! They would also have to factor in wages etc by staffing it. I know the staff are on reduced hours already due to the season ending.
