Loved the "go to" female excuse her defence lawyer offered.

"Oh, it was a hormonal imbalance"

And how does one "think" one is pregnant?? That's why there's about 2000 brands of pregnancy test to be sure!!

Nutter who is well deserving of her jail time.

She was being chased by a security guard regarding a possible shoplift from Boots; it may well have been the interim period of 'thinking' your pregnant. :greengrin

That's a shocker and insanely stupid.

Get caught stealing low value crap. Drive away in what appears to be a heavily camera'd area. Run someone onto your car. Swerve around like Jason Bourne to get them off and potentially kill them.

Stupid cow, deserved longer.

Not the point, mate.

If you take the defence agent's argument seriously, any pregnant woman can drive her car at any man, and because her hormones are "out of balance", it's OK.

So if your wife takes a carving knife and fillets you, then claims it's "the time of the month" - that's OK.

Or if she THOUGHT she was pregnant, but wasn't, and ploughs into a bus queue with her SUV and then calims it was the disappointment that caused an emotional imbalance, THAT'S OK.

I fear there have been a whole lot of serious miscarriages of justice - all these women on this website should surely have been acquitted and allowed to continue to work out their problems in ways that seemed best and most convenient to themselves.

After all, they're women, and they have hormones ...

Just a thought - if a woman THINKS she's pregnant, does that "obviously" lead to her suffering a hormonal imbalance, even if she's completely mistaken?
