Blackpool has been done twice, let's try somewhere different. Yorkshire area is better anyway :-)

My bank manager would prefer us to play all the games at ER than spending another couple of hundred quid on a Tuesday night out in Blackpool! Did have a belter of a day/night though :agree:

Wouldn't be a surprise to see Carlisle among the list, I'm sure I read somewhere that they are looking for a couple of games against Scottish teams. So we will see what happens..

Looks as if what I said will not be happening, it says on the Carlisle website the only Scottish team they will be playing is st mirren!

Got a funny feeling the club won't have us having a friendly down South this season, hope i am wrong as always a great day out, but we do have some folk who don't go down for the game, and after the Sunderland game at ER last season the club may just sway away from down South for a bit.

We should just stay at home then and get them to come up and play us.

Assuming this to be Viera guesting for Selkirk, is it something to do with a Bobby Johnstone / Man City / Selkirk tie in?

If so, why is he not guesting for them against us?

I assume so HH. Viera and a couple of City guests are in the Selkirk side, so I'm told......v Celtic, not us. And I think it will be a very young Hibs side, not the first team.

The rumours about Dublin seemed to have stepped up a gear on Twitter today? Flights from £32 return from Liverpool & Manchester would mean it's pretty likely I'll be going

Are they expecting anything other than a young Celtic side? Still, if it swells their coffers fine by me. Shame we don't make more of the connection between us and the hometown team of one of our favourite sons.

Does your first post suggest the game is only for Selkirk residents? that would be a shame too.

No, not at all HH - both games are open to anyone I think. I'm sure it's £6 for adults at the Hibs game. I think a tenner for the 'Tic game.

Thanks TH but I had gathered that about the Hibs game. Plan on being at that. Enjoyed my last visit (Danny Galbraith debut).
Might even pay a visit for the Sellick / SelkirkCitySelect game too, depending on what other pre season delights the Hibs throw our way!

Well I must admit that considering the rumours have been doing the rounds for months, I'd have thought something may have been confirmed by now.
