Has it been tested for Class As? I may have trouble getting past the police sniffer dog at Waverley station if not and I'm not as good at looking innocent and saying, "The stuff's not mine officer" as some are.

Some pretty poor patter on this thread I see ;)

The way he has conducted himself whilst at Hibs has been pitiful, and his behaviour straight after the Final humiliation is poor patter as you would say.

Is it a match worn shirt?

Doesn't look like it. There's no fake tan marks on it.

Is this something O'Connor has done to help raise funds for Sect43? If so, good for him.

Dunno in this instance but Garry has previous for giving generously to good causes, I own his Scotland shirt he donated for a Macmillan nurses sportsmens breakfast, I know the organizer was stunned by the donation and was at best hoping for a Birmingham shirt

I think he may get used to doing some services to help out the community.

Some people collect match worn shirts, and at some point they will all become EX PLAYERS, so what's your point ?

My point must be that I think its over priced, guess I am not allowed to say that Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms Cocopops.

Surely with any collectable the market dictates the price this went for 200quid which therefore is its current market value, obviously people get a bit more generous when its for a charity/fund they believe in. Just because its not your personal choice to spend that much on a worn shirt that does not mean its overpriced. I don't buy 10grand bottles of whiskey but people do and that's their choice. Ps your point is moot as the item was not actually priced ;-) mr/miss/mrs/ms HH81

Get the right people on the night HH and football tops can go for a few quid, i used to run a youth team and wee held a event at a bowling club to raise funds for the team for strips and other stuff, i got hold of a worn Riordan top signed by Deek Broonie Thomo Gaz and Whittaker along with a signed football by the team at that time, and just to be fair i also got a signed yam top and ball for the event that night to auction as well for any mutants turning up, :greengrin, we packed out the bowling club that night as the tickets we sold had printed on them what was for auction on the night. we kept the signed Hibs top until the end of the night as that seemed to be what most folk were there for, mind you we did get £320 for the yam top so we knew the Hibs top would go for more, we started the bidding at £50 for it and there were bids coming in from all around the club, it got to about £400 and then two local buisness men stepped in and just started bidding against each other for it, we got £700 for it and i still see the guy who got it and he is Hibs daft and he say's it was the best £700 he had spent for a bit of Hibs memorabilia.

As i said get the right people on the night and you will be surprised how much they will spend on football tops when they are pretty drunk at the end of the night, :greengrin, and they knew it was going towards the local youth team in there area and money was no problem to them. :aok:
