Is this the second weekend on the trot one of my two beloved teams get beat at their national stadiums ?
Eight Sheffield United fans at Hampden supporting the Hibees last weekend are also at Wembley today with United. Let's hope this one is a better result. If you're a neutral sway a little to the blades today please

Got a little soft spot for Town after they won me a fortune during their unbeaten run.

Got money on them today but wouldn't grudge you a win after last week.

Huddersfield v Sheffield united 0-0 at the moment, and both keepers all over the shop with crosses. They then go across and look at the subs, and Nick Colgan is warming up for Huddersfield. How old is he??????

Poor game I thought Rhodes would be main man today. Not had a shot yet.

Infact no shots on target yet by anyone.

Bit late as the game is underway perhaps - but good luck to Sheffield - don't know much at all about the team and its chances, but I've always loved that strip of theirs for some reason - my favourite one, next to the Hibees that is...

Apart from the one that smacked off the United bar. I agree, a very poor game, i thought Huddersfield have slightly shaded it.

Just seen replay on that, must have happened when I turn over to check cricket score :-)

They can't even score from penalties!

Three misses out of three.

No one wants to win this by the looks of it. Fantastic save by the Huddersfield keeper mind you.

Oh Sheff Utd score.

This is criminal by Huddersfield. 3 honking penalties.

This is awful.

Arfield scores. Not Hibs class if I remember correctly.

I think the best team won in the end.

Huddersfield win on pens. Goalies ended up taking one each at the end, Huddersfield's blasted it through Simonsen's hands, Simonsen then blasted the last one over. Sheff Utd really blew it with the third penalty when they were 1-0 up, if that had been scored it would have killed Huddersfield psychologically.

Amazing finish! I'd bring back the golden goal in extra time but pens is the way to finish it if it's still draw after 120 mins.

Interesting watching Scott Arfield - Calum Woods and Chris Porter who were all connected with Hibs interest at one point. All very good players who would have been an asset had we managed to get them.

May be a stupid question but why do they get a trophy when Charlton won the league.

I think it's because the Football League effectively treats each division's playoffs as a separate competition from the regular league season. For instance, any appearances in playoffs don't count as league appearances statistically. Also, the finals are (mostly) at Wembley, so you may as well use the facility there to have a trophy presentation, I guess.

Inevitably, none of them were "Hibs class" at the time.
