Caley Thistle have never won it and next season they will be joined by Ross County. Also, not sure about St. Johnstone. Don't know if they have won it.

For teams that have won it, it must be Dunfermline (60's), then St. Mirren (80's).

Caley and St J have never won it.

Dunfermline won it last in 1967/68, a mere 64 years after we last did!

Just checked, St Johnstone have never won it, nor even reached the final.

Dunfermline last won it in 68. St. Mirren in 87.

Aberdeen
Hertz
Kilmarnock
Clyde
St. Mirren
Dundee United
Motherwell
Third Lanark
Dunfermline
Falkirk

Tomorrow evening, that list will be down to none!:flag:

Teams that won the cup, but their last time was before 1902 are (wait for it) Queen's Park (who won it 10 times), Vale of Leven, Renton, Dumbarton and St. Bernard's.

Spare a thought for poor old Ayr United, who have never won any of the three national competitions. The Killie fans even have a song, "Ayr United, Ayr United, won **** all and never will" to the we'll support you evermore tune. Puts our jinx in perspective.

How comes the Hibs v Rangers cup final at the end of the 70's was so poorly attended

Crowds in general were at a low ebb at the end of the 70s. It was one of the first ones to be televised as well. The OF final of 76-77 was the first on the telly iirc, and its attendance is listed as 54,252, a drop of over 30000 from Huns-Hearts the year before.

If you add up the replays then it was quite well attended. :-)

Spare a thought for poor old Queen's Park who have not won the venerable old trophy since 1893!!!

It was their 15th win in the competition right enough though so stuff them - glory hunting bassas :grr:
