Anyone else going on their own? And can anyone recommend a good place to head for a couple of beers for someone going on their own.

Quite possibly. Unless I get another two tickets.

I'll be with a bunch of Hibbies, whatever!

I would check the travel forum, see of you can join folks booked into a club.

I'm going through with a mate, he's driving, I have no idea where we're going but he mentioned pub and taxi. We'll see.

Walkabout should be jumping for it mate. It's just around the corner from Buchanan St. Don't know if you'll get in with your Hibs colours on though.

They'd be committing commercial suicide to make it "not ok" for colours. Will phone tomorrow to check this, and also that the Wee Airdie Loyal Hearts SC (or a similar mass of bawbags) haven't booked in to it or anything.

In the evening they might be a bit fussy about colours, but at lunchtime and given the circumstances and the opportunity to earn a small fortune, I'd be amazed if there was any problem.

We're thinking of parking around Victoria Road area near the Queens park. There are one or two pubs near the top of Victoria road but I'm wondering if they will be Jambo joints for the day as I believe they have parking in part of the park.

Good man, post if it's a no-no.
I'm sure Wee Airdie Jambo is a fascinating character, witty and intelligent......but Saturday's probably no the best time to meet the bawbag.

Now that there are 11 Hibees going from Perth, a minibus is being hunted down this morning. Also going to the Penny Farthing on the corner of Allison Street and Cathcart Road for pre match drink. Best Guinness in Glasgow apparently

Rutherglen is a Hun town in my book so watch out in case any of the jabbering mono-brows are "boycotting" the final (aka standing at the door of their chosen 1970s decor 'Rangers friendly' pub) shouting abuse at anyone they think is a "left footer", which to them could be anyone especially people clad in green in white.

As Lungo says, NOT a good idea IMO. My missus will be parking at her wee sister's in one of the more salubrious parts of Rutherglen, but nowhere near the Main Street. Drank down there once when they moved there, never again!!!

i'm heading to Hampden on my own right now. I drove to Glengarnock cause I couldn't get the car park ticket machine at Largs to work properly.

I had only just bought my ticket for Kings Park when I heard the two fellas who had been in the queue behind me asking for returns to Mount Florida... Ended up talking to them for 10 minutes on Glengarnock platform, me and two Jambos :D :D ;)

Think I've just realized who you are, you should have said hi. Didn't think much of the place though. What with the no colours crap and trying to stop the singing. Can't believe the staff had a nerve to go up to people and ask them to cover their jersey's. Put a few people off and they just left. In the end, they couldn't stop the singing though, good stuff :aok:. Ended up leaving and going to the Montford before kick off with one of you. Sorry mate but can't remember your name and Cheers for the Bud bud .
