SUNDAY’S victory at Motherwell was the perfect send-off for many of our departing stars, with Dixon, Robertson and Swanson all playing their part in the win. Swanson still has the potential to be a top-class player but has suffered from a combination of bad luck and general stupidity over the last couple of seasons, with some of his tackles leaving a lot to be desired. While there remains some optimism that Robertson will sign a new deal, of the departing players, it is Dixon who will be missed most. He has been the most consistent player at Tannadice over the last four seasons. Also departing is Garry Kenneth, a player and a fan who always gave his all. He’ll be looking out for the United scores wherever he ends up and, likewise, many United fans will be keeping a keen eye on his career. Good luck Kenza!
