Ambitious signing target considering he has been heavily linked with Celtic but good to hear this is the standard we may be looking at. Looking and getting are of course very different things but if genuine decent attempts are being made to sign this sort of player then good on PF and the board.

I wonder if his desire to play in England will still be as strong if Celtic follow up their interest. We have all seen that one before. Will he be the latest in a long line of young Scots who take the easy option of signing for the Old Firm.

I am now assuming that this was the Dundee United player we approached the other week who wasn't Swanson/Dillon/Kenneth or Daly as discussed on another thread.

Would have been a good signing but at the same time it's not really a position we need to strengthen while Booth and Kujabi are here.

Good to see we're looking at players who are well proven at SPL level.

We've made far too many hopeful signings in the past few years. Now its time for certainty.

Yeah maybe I should have said its not a priority position at the moment rather than we can't improve on it.
