i guy who comes in to my work is a thistle fan and he says Cairney is a decent player, likes to get on the ball but he wasnt sure if he was capabale of making the step up.Said he is a very good 1st division player so he might be able to adjust

It is good that hibs are looking at young guys who are playing well week in week out for their respective clubs. Taking a wee chance on 2 maybe 3 of these types of players could produce dividends for the club. The guy at Morton (Fouad Bachirou) who was with PSG gets good reviews regarding his game and looks comfortable on the ball.

How much money do you think PF will be promised by the Tache for signings? These two lads both sound very promising.
But on the opposite side of the question, who might we sell, or who do you want to say goodbye to?

Not according to Thistle fan at work. Welsh has been alright but Cairney a lot better.

Next to **** all. The cup run will plug some of the hole but the drop in crowds at ER the last couple of years will have left things pretty tight I would think.

I think the season ticket sales may well top 10k. In which case fenlon will have some cash available. Not mega , but enough to wheel & deal.

Hi Hibs fans,
Being various rumours that our best player Paul Cairney is going to sign shortly for Hibs, have you guys heard anything? All the best wishes to him if he does does deserve a shot in the SPL at a big club like Hibs.

Also in the press that Jags have offered Sean Welsh from Hibs a contract, any word though if you guys are going to keep him?

All the best for next week guys, hope you have a fantastic day out in Hampden and should be a fantastic day out that gets Scottish football talking about Scottish football and not the ever tiring subject of the old firm

Not heard anything about Sean. Good luck to you if you get him. Think it's a shame he's never quite got a run in the team here, mostly down to injury perhaps. It's probably the case that he needs a change of scenery.
