IT WAS the result that nobody, least of all Labour party, expected in Glasgow. But when the final result came through for the North East Ward bringing Labour’s total to 44, well in excess of the number needed for a majority, the cheers and hugs seemed to be as much through relief and disbelief than jubilation.
