I hope we win, but, there must be better 2/1 shots on offer.

Never let your heart rule your head when punting!

2/1 is good value IMO. Only one team NEEDS the win.

Stan James will give you 12/5, an extra £16 for your £40.

You'll get 2 ton back if you back Dundee Utd @ 4s, if they win of course! ;-)

Exactly why I say lump it on Dons....Hibs let me down everyweek pretty much.

If I was to make a bet on this game, thats most likely what I would go for. Think it will be a pretty boring game tbh.

I always just avoid betting on Hibs completely. Firstly, because I have a repulsive gambling record so even if we were playing Hutchy U13s, no doubt theyd get a last minute winner (Although on recent performances that might not be so surprising :greengrin) And secondly, I could never ever bring myself to bet against Hibs as i'd be too scared about subconsciously wanting my team to lose, which is obviously the last thing id want. And draws are just boring. :na na:

I might do that for the final. Put all my money on a Hearts win. Hibs win, fantastic. Hearts win, my bank balance goes from a fiver to £6. Win both ways.

I've got Hibs to win on my coupon along with draws in another 3 games, Inverness v Dunfermline, Kilmarnock v St Mirren and Rangers v Dundee Utd, my £2.50 returns £346.84!

You are attracted towards teams that are heavily under the influence of accountants with badly deteriorating Tom Sellick style mouzers?
best I could come up with as it takes a lot to get me to bet on matches that involve us.

PLEASE tell us you stuck your £40 on 2-1.

Edit - I wrongly read your post as a 2-1 score line. 2/1 on a hibs win would still be nice!

Going to stick a load on Hibs to win the SC Final. Will be the best day of my life if we beat the Yams in the final and I win a shed load of cash.

If we lose, I won't be seen in Aberdeen for months.

I had £3 on the Skybet special last night - Hibs to score in the first 10 mins. 17/2. happy enough with my £28.50. Only had £5 in my account. Pays for my ticket on Monday eh

What's the best odds anyone's found for the final? Seems to be 6/5 is what I'm getting.

You always hear about a gamblers wins but never their losses :greengrin absolute mugs game.

Respect to anyone who can genuinely beat the bookie though :agree: My biggest win came from an accy at Musselburgh racecourse, retired from betting after that as the only way was down :greengrin

I'll even my gloating up by admitting i had £100 on hibs at evens at home to st mirren back in August - GOC scored then we never had another shot on goal and lost the lead and my bet.. i've forgot about that though
