This is where Fenlon is not so great IMO. We need a change in shape or a move around to stop the Dons picking up the pace. Soon we will be making our first challenge in the penalty area.

question:-

why DO refs always add 5 mins or so injury time when there's hope a team may equalise, even although there wasn't even close to 5 mins injury time?
I'm thinking back to Monday at man city.....
is this generally in live tv games?

****ing ********:greengrin

Just back from my short but dangerous walk home from Pittodrie. Great atmosphere created by the fans, if I could hope for one thing on Monday night it is that we rock ER like we did that away stand tonight.

O'Hanlon looked a different player. A goal that Jones would have been proud of, and didn't really put a foot wrong at the back. Solid performance, and it looked like it meant a lot to him, first over to the fans at the end, 10/10 Sean:top marks

Claros was looking good for most of the match also, putting in sliding tackles and showing why he got the name pitbull.

Please get Griffiths signed up, first touch is immense, great performance again.

Great performance by the team tonight, exactly what we needed.

02-05-2012, 09:19 PM
First 45 was good, especially the first 20 minutes we should have been out of sight by then!

O'Hanlon, Claros, Ozzy and Griffiths I think were brilliant.
Francomb and Kujabi also warrant a mention for a good performance.
A good away turnout, weren't quiet for a second!

Great result which I think will see us safe!

Well done to all the players especially the much maligned Sean O'Hanlon, he might just have played a massive part in keeping us up.

Well done hibs, big win that was especially with Dunfermline dropping points  We are not 100% safe yet but least we now have some breathing space!

Big game on monday, hopefully a decent crowd!

Tonight's results were almost perfect but let's not fool ourselves that it's all over. A bad result on Monday will put pressure on us that we are not too well equipped to deal with. What we do have after tonight is a clear psychological advantage which I think is much more important than the points advantage and which we must cash in on on Monday.

My heart was pumping through my chest listening to the radio. The main commentator was desperate for the sheep to score

We ought to treat it ( v Dunfy) like the mini cup final! Give the team a taste of what it means. Balloons, etc.

I mean off the pitch!!!

Great result :aok:, we really need to beat these ****ers at home on Monday, we have not won at home in the league in a long ****ing time, a very long time indeed, September 2011 in fact :grr:.

Amazing away support today, deserved a result. Team were pretty poor the second half and Fenlon's subs were terrible IMO but who cares, they fought and great centre half performances won us that game.

:pfgwa

Never mind the telly, we need as many as possible at the game. Cup final 1 and we must get stuck in from the start. It would give us a great lift and we could rest any injured players in last game. It really is massive. ***'on the HIbs.

Agree. Monday is massive: win (or draw, but a convincing win would be so much better) and we have two weeks to concentrate on the biggest game of our lives. Lose, and at best we scrape through on the last day, drained and shattered: at worst...well, it's unthinkable (but all too possible). I really hope the fans will turn out in big numbers on Monday (like the Airdrie game in 97) and back the team to the hilt. Somehow doubt it, though...

Good to hear all that.

Brilliant result in a very significant fixture. Well done to all involved.

Just back, nervy but enjoyable and drive home was just one big sigh of relief that the players have delivered tonight!

Well done big Sean ohanlon rock at the back with Hanlon tonight!

Let's not be negative about anything today, lots of
Positives and we've won a tricky
High pressure game. Now to finish the job on Monday!

Well done to the support thought we were immense supporting the lads tonight!!

Still got a bit of a buzz from this past night, huge result from Fenlon and the team. I can't wait for Monday now.

I hope O'Hanlon speaks to his team mates more than he did the other night. Was at Nandos at Fountainpark, in walks Griffiths, 5 mins later O'Hanlon walks in, the whole time they were in there neither said a word or even acknowledged each other. Found that a bit strange!

Anyway GGTTH

I had to laugh this morning when I was looking at the Hibs match report in the sun, apologies I don't have a link but for anyone who has access to the paper check out page 78. Griffiths looks like the only Hibby not happy with O'Hanlon's goal!
