You know when you're watching a soap, or a program with loads of people in it and theres those "extras" walking around in the background, trying to make a name for themselves?

Well I present you with "Tam McCourt".

He is the man that tends to the teams every need before and during the game, weather it be getting the water , new boots so on and so on.

He is part of the back room team ... Every team will have one

:agree:

He used to be the groundsman, but when that that was contracted out he took on a kitman / gopher type role.

This.

Peoples obsession with this guy and his job really need to let it go. There's far bigger problems at ER right now than Tam McCourt.

He's the scapegoat on .net for when the team is crap.

Yep it is ridiculous, he is the kitman, a gopher, he drives the team mini bus, his wife washes the kit, anything a player needs during a game or at training he gets it.

I used to live near him a few years ago and the guy and his whole family live and breathe hibs, I don't know why people have a problem with him.

Other than jealousy I can't think of a reason.

x2 :agree:

He does whatever it is he does. Couldn't care less, as I'm sure it only helps, not hinders the team.

Seems to be that. Ordinary bloke, Hibs fan, gets to sit in the dug out. Seems to hack people off.

He does a job that every club has a requirement for. His missus being employed on the other hand...

Tam's role is to sprint down the tunnel after a player gets sent off.

Every team has one.

Yep you got it right he is the kitman, why do you ask, he also does a number of other jobs at Hibs, doing a great job so he is wouldn't you say yourself.

First man in at EM in the morning and last man to leave at night.

Do you want to thank him or something like that for the good job he does at HFC.

He's very well liked amongst the players at Hibs. Only on Hibs.net would you find idiots with a chip on their shoulder regarding the kitman.
