cheersHibernians is totally different from the club membership. Hibernians is a scheme fans signed up for tae help support the Hibs young teams.

No It is wrong, I purchased mine and the sons membership for the aberdeen game so we could go to all cup games. I was made that promise in the email but according to the official site the cut off date for the purchase is 31/12/2011!!! Its a joke I bought that membership in good faith thinking we would get priority tickets AFTER season ticket holders which is only fair but now I am not even getting that!!! massively disappointed as I attended all cup games except cowdenbeath!! Hibs better not be serious on this.

Club Members and Members of The Hibernians scheme (as at 31 December 2011*) will be included in the priority sales period and can purchase 1 ticket per Membership. A separate form for Club Members and Hibernians Members will be made available and sent directly to both groups. Processing of Club Member and Hibernians Member tickets will be completed AFTER the Season Ticket Membership process has ended. Tickets will be reserved for Club Members and Hibernians until this time. Supporters should note the Club Membership scheme is currently closed to new entrants.

*Supporters who have joined the Hibernians scheme after 31 December 2011 will not be included in the priority sale.

With my heart pumping like crazy as I read it, I also made the same mistake. However, after some sedation and a reread, I came to see my error.

But to be 100% certain I called the club, and a lovely employee explained that my membership, which was bought in February, is valid. Phew!

What is club membership? Is that not just when you go to quite a few games and you're on the database? or is that me being hopeful?

Yes that's you being hopeful, club members are those who paid to join when it was for sale earlier in the season!

There was a membership card for when you don't have a season ticket and it cost £20 plus it gave you an additional couple of add ons. You need one of those, solely being on the database will not get you a ticket for the final.

Is that correct? It says you still have priority which I took to mean the same priority as season tickets?

Thats the way I read it. Would be harsh to have the same priority as STs. However the slight contradiction they mention reserved til after the STs not sure if that
Means they are effectively ring-fenced or not. Suspect they won't be ring fenced but if tickets remain after the STs then folks will be considered

Priority after STs so it ain't a given :(

I reckon season tickets will account for (roughly) -

This year seasons - 7000
Next years who renew - 6000
completely new for next year - 2000

All in 15,000 sold to season ticket owners

There cant be many more than 1500 memberships

so leaving 3500-5500 for public sale depending on if we get 20,000 or 22,000 tickets

The hibernians are a group of supporters who contribute a minimum of £10/month to go towards the funding of the Hibs Youth Development needs.

This enables the Director of Youth Development (Bill Hendry) and his team to help fund the running and development of the under 10's all the way up to the under 19's.

Hopefully, this gives a better chance of more youth players breaking through into the 1st team squad in the future.

Some of the Members of the hibernians will be distributing leaflets at the match tomorrow. This will give you plenty if information about the initiative, and hoping people will take up on this and contribute towards Hibernian Youth.

Hopefully, plenty people will sign up for this worthy cause. :greengrin

tickets will be put aside for members but not processed until after ST, so seat choice may be limited

Couldn't care about limited seat choice as long as they face the pitch I'll be happy!
