Obviously this is a little premature but if we do win the cup. Who lifts the trophy?
McPake has been brilliant,he is a rock at the back and is currently wearing the captains armband. Ian Murray is still club captain and a life long Hibs fan. Surely he will be wanting to lift it.

Thoughts?

Tam McCourt, after the stick he took for celebrating the last cup win we had, I think he deserves it.

Realistically it'll be McPake and Murray at the same time, one handle each.

Captain on the day a no brainer surely, if he wants the club captain to lift it with him then fair enough.

Am I right in saying if we won the cup Murray wouldnt actually get a winners medal since he hasnt actually played, or been a sub, in any of the games?

Did Jones and Scott Brown not lift the CIS in 2007 together ?

Here's a thought, what about our young mascot for the day, In respect from our team for the 110 years we fans have had to wait. Will never happen but if it did it would be the icing on the cake for what will be a day in history that will be embedded in our tradition forall eternity. Failing this Captain for the Day, as it means he might just be that emotional that he wants to stay with us a bit longer. GGTTH

Yea, that actually annoyed me tbh, I would have liked it to just be Jones, purely because it would have looked better just the captain on his own, looked a bit cluttered but thats just me!) Beggers cant be choosers I suppose! Just as long as its a hibs player lifting it I really couldn't care less!
