New York based Hibees

Greetings from across the Edinburgh divide, I come in peace.

There's quite a few of us Jambos stuck in New York for the final so over on Kickback we've arranged a meet up in Manhattan for the game and thought it would be good to invite any hibees who are in a similar position for some light banter.

We're going to http://www.legends33.com/index_nm.html which is the base of the New York Tartan Army. They've confirmed that they are showing the game and we're currently enquiring about happy hour deals given it will be 10am. The owner has apparently contacted both clubs but in case they don't advertise thought that this was the best way to do it.

They're also showing the Champions League final straight after apparently, although if you guys win I might nip across the road and take a swan dive off the Empire State Building (it's right across the street).

Anyways, if you're in NYC yourself come along - or if you know anyone who is, feel free to pass on the info.

I might be interested in this. The last time I was in a room full of Jambos watching the game on TV was the derby that took place in October 22, 2000..........I rather enjoyed that one.
