Should make the pricing structure interesting.

:agree:

£38 a ticket probably and i bet there is a limit on concessions for kids and OAP.

It may be more than that mind you.

You can't put a price on a good time.

Yep, but I wouldn't miss it for double that.

I've not read the article but I'm guessing that they're putting a pro-murrayfield twist on it?
It's at hampden, its where it should be, please don't interfere!

Edit: no theyre not. They're saying both clubs want it at. Hampden.
Good news IMO
I think it's what the majority of non-glory hunters want!

I think £38 is fine for an adult cup final ticket. Old Firm games cost more than that.

Looking at the comments and see some of the low-lifes are saying they should get a bigger allocation than us:rolleyes:

Yeah, I'm budgeting for about that but it wouldn't surprise me if north and south tickets cost more than that.

Sure my nephew said the last old firm game tickets for celtc fans were £48.

If so that is madness to pay that for an SPL game. :agree:

£35 at last years cup final Mothers v Celtic
And I will easily pay £50 this year if that's the price

Won't be I suspect as I've heard that the Bronze Debenture seats are priced at £45 and they are "superior" to those in the North and South below the top tier in the South which houses a lot of the Debenture seats! :agree:

Tell ya what this thread and the other one about Hampden v Murrayfield does show.

That our national football stadium seriously needs sorted out. Its true that for the most part matches at Hampden dont reach the 52,000 capacity. But at certain times, like this one, the current capacity is woefully short of what is required.

It wont make any difference this time, but after the 19th of May the SFA should be looking to finding a way to upgrade the stadium and lift the capacity to something more like 70,000.

Lets not forget that a number of huge music acts use Hampden too and a lot of revenue could be raised from increased ticket sales for them.

Not forgetting that England, Wales and The Irish Republic currently have national stadiums which make Hampden look like something out of the dark ages.

Well aware of that, you can chuck in the French national stadium too as far as that goes. But when you look at the fact that Scotlands two biggest clubs have better grounds than Hampden not to mention a number of clubs in England and the continent, it really is time the SFA got the finger out.

It seems too that the Commonwealth games would have been the ideal opportunity to increase the capacity, but that appears to have been missed ... we should have asked the Olympic folk how they managed to get the government to put £40,000,000 of public money into the opening and closing ceremonies of the games, as far as I am aware on top of £40,000,000 already allocated for that. Not even the events mind you, just what is in effect a pre event show.

I'm paying £40 per ticket via my mate's debentures which is fair enough for me especially as I paid £50 a ticket for Scotland v England at Murrayfield for the Six Nations this year.
