Anybody had some incredibly odd dreams? I had a cracker last night was so vivid, was to do with a Tsunami in Musselburgh!! I was standing just before the bridge going over the esk (the road one, not the wee roman one) and Phil Mickleson was playing golf on the grass, he got swept away by a massive wave coming up the high street towards Tesco. Then a lighthouse was conveniently placed on Bridge Street so I retired there for safety only to be met by Bab Windsor at the top, it started to go really dark and a mile high wave came crashing towards us, she turns to me and say "I've made my peace with everyone, you should too", then I woke up.

Now I done a wee bit of digging and it seems a tsunami/end of the world dream is to do with a major change in your life, I'm about to get islet cell transplant for Diabetes, so that could explain it, but big Babs Windsor telling me to make my peace with everyone has properly put the s****ers up me!

I don't generally believe in such rubbish but is fascinating none the less, anyone else had some mental dreams?

Dreams are just your brain having a **** at the end of the day. I wouldn't read too much into them.

You lucky thing having vivid dreams like that! My dreams usually concern very humdrum events e.g.shopping at Tesco, working in an office etc. Then I wake up at about 5 a.m. and go through and watch Brighton Rock for the nth time with a cuppa.

Must be age.

I don't buy all this stuff about dreams having meanings. Apparently if there are vegetables in my dreams that means I am going to die:confused:

However, last nights dream was about the cup final. I fell asleep and missed the match. I woke up on the sofa and had to look at teletext for the result. The top match on the results page was somebody 1, hearts 2. The next one down was somebody 0, hibs 1.
However, the first one was somehow the cup final and a horrible, sinking feeling took over me.
Next to me was my father in law, a jambo, and I offered him my hand and we just got on with it. The feeling of loss soon went away and I was still proud to be a hibby even though we had got beat and it certainly wasn't the end of the world.

After that characters from Cars 2 started getting involved but I sort of understand that defeat won't be that big a deal because the feelings were real.

If anything, that dream has just confirmed in my head that we have nothing to fear.:pfgwa

I had a dream a few months earlier. That we would win the cup against Hearts on pens. It could still happen :cb

Not going to happen. I had one where we won 2-0 my dream is better than yours!!

That would be my idea of Hell!

I honestly could not bear to have the Scottish Cup final against Hearts decided by a penalty shootout.

It's bad enough to think that we might lose to them over 90 minutes, without thinking that we might lose it on penalties!
