I'd sign up to Twitter just to help out in reaching 1875 followers, but I don't use the thing. If I need to tell someone something I'll text or phone them. Guess I'm just a Luddite too but I think Twitter is a bit "self publicist", a wee bit, "look at me I'm doing cool things or saying cool things". Think it means I'm getting old :O
