Do you think they will play in next seasons kit in the final? If they issued it early they could sell thousands, although they may not have enough time to organise it.

Your lucky if the shop has them for the start of the new season, this season they didn't even have any home socks when they went on sale!

I seem to remember Dundee Utd played in their new home strip in the 2005 final against Celtic. If i'am right :cb

A nice idea, however for the final superstition is forcing me to wear my home top from last season, wasn't a fan of the material so it went largely unworn in favour of other strips, but it was worn on Saturday, and after thinking back I've only ever seen us win while wearing the thing, so it must be worn for the final! :greengrin

You would think that once we had made it to the semi, someone could have looked into the possibility of them being speeded up just in case. They must have it all designed and near ready anyway, is it not usually June they come out. Surely a few weeks early to make a mint would be a strategy.

Let's wear the one that the Mankies stole from us in 1889.

Do you think it should be a 1902 commemorative kit?

No it should be dark green with white sleeves and white shorts and green socks with white tops.

No, constant references to 1902, 110 years, etc. only adds incresed pressure.

For the players, this should be treated as any other match, and I'm sure Fenlon will be approaching it that way.

It's a one off match against a mediocre Hearts team in Glasgow that we're perfectly capable of winning. This season's kit will do fine.

My point isn't about what the strip should look like but that is a very good debate too. Its about the marketing opportunity of playing in and selling next years kit for the cup final could bring to the club. In my opinion they should cash in on everything they can.

No.

Wear this season's kit, so if we do win, then it holds some place in history in years to come.

sooner we are out of the current home one the better. its not a true Hibs shirt. Although it does have the opportunity to become a very historic one...

I dont like it either. Not one of the better ones but others will disagree.

The current strip is symbolic, the sweeping line goes from low to high, much like our season.
