Just wondering if there would be any interest in running a bus from the Dunfermline Area to the SC Final.

Normally I end up driving through or taking a bus from Edinburgh but I have noticed an increasing number of supporters in the Dunfermline area and I thought running a bus might be a possibility.

No idea of the cost yet as it would depend on vehicle size but I would be interested in finding out the level of interest. :hibees

I live in leven and would be interested only if the bus goes via Sharm el Shiek as that's where I'll be that day ;-(

Yup, this would interest me - possibly could take 4 seats on a bus as her indoors and a couple of others would be interested. If we were to do the impossible the bus would have to go back via Edinburgh coz there's no way I'll be missing the parade. If you want to take this further PM me and I'd be happy to help with the organisation, could even organise for us to get into a child friendly social club in Glasgow for beer etc before the game.

This was being discussed in The Elizabethan after the match today. If I hear more I'll post it to allow max support for the Fife Party bus.

Thanks for the info, but numbers appear to be building up so there is a real possibilty of puting a bus on. I'm surprised to
hear there is a bus running from Inverkeithing. Does it go through Edinburgh?.

As you will have noticed from other threads getting a reasonably priced coach/minibus is hard to come by. I am still awaiting responses from some companies but it has been a real task. At present I have the possibility of a 16 seater executive at £17 per head. Although as demand is so high that opportunity may have gone. My personal opinion is £17 is a bit high but if enough are interested I am prepared to go ahead. If anyone is still interested please PM me ASAP with details. If I hear from any other companies I will let you know. Sorry but kids will still be approx £15 to £16.
