Melrose talisman John Dalziel could make a surprise return in today’s Aberdeen Asset Management Melrose Sevens at the Greenyards. The 35-year-old Scotland Sevens cap has been out of action since Boxing Day after he injured his collarbone for the second time this season. He was expected to miss the whole of the Kings of the Sevens circuit, but The Scotsman understands he is hopeful of lining up for the home club this afternoon in front of the crowd of more than 15,000.
