Just back from Liverpool today, yesterday in Liverpool as I was getting out of the car a silver ford transit pulls up and a bloke in a high vis vest shouts out the window " just been delivering mattresses to a hotel mate and got some spare, any size if your interested" I declined and he pulled off, thought nothing of it as certainly not the first time been offered stuff from a van in the pool :greengrin.

Couldn't believe it when this afternoon in Corstorphine a white transist van pulled up alongside me and gave me virtually the same story offering mattresses for sale!!!!!! Googled it when I got home and seems it's happening all over the country normally resulting in you buying a useless piece of cheap foam packaged as memory foam. Anyone else come across this on the street offer?

A very convincing scam, as hoteliers very rarely know how many bedrooms they've got. :fibber:

They were in our village for about two weeks. I was stopped on the street about 8 times. Someone I know bought one and said its actually a decent mattress. I wasnt convinced enough to buy one.
