I heard earlier this week that they had been in touch with Fife Hyland wanting him to lift the banning of the Express from ER, I would assume that the Mail's ban has been lifted so the Express are the only one out in the cold, not a position they wish to be in in a cup s/f week.

They ARE forced to retract stories. A lot. But grudgingly.
They are also one of the most regular FOI requesters to govt depts and councils, usually trying to find evidence of 'liberals trying to cancel Christmas to avoid offense to Muslims'-type stories. (and causing unnecessary and timeconsuming waste in the public sector, ironically).
