Could be a couple of reasons. It could be a punishment for moaning about the decisions on Saturday or it could just be 'cos it's against Man U.

Or it could have been a foul by Caldwell.

1-0 Dortmund just over 10 mins to go, that could clinch the league for them.

Dortmund fans create a superb atmosphere, Scottish football could learn a lot from German football. :agree:

Cracking end to Dortmund game Robben misses another sitter (must have had a wager on Dortmund)

Then Dortmund hit the bar at the other end

If united lose and City win, is that the gap down to 5 points, with the Manchester derby still to play?

If the results stay as they are, I don't think the title is quite decided yet...

Not quite up there with that quote, but on 5 Live last night they were discussing what Dalgliesh's reaction to Doni would be to his sending off and one guy said that 'behind closed doors he would be tearing a strip off the brazilian' which had his colleagues giggling like kids :greengrin

To be fair, it appears Wigan may well have been given a couple of dodgy decisions in their favour tonight, at least according to the Beeb's website.

True, he hasn't quite mastered the high quality toe bash. He's pretty much got everything else down to a tee though, including types of goals that Ronaldo can only recreate on the Playstation.

Its a harsh red card for Bassong against Arsenal. Def a pen though, and Arsenal would have gone on to win the game regardless of the red card. But, 10 mins in and Bassong doesnt even really make a tackle, he has to run with Walcott and cant help taking him down. Only time that should ever be a red is when its against Hibs.

Yup. The disallowed Wigan goal looked perfectly OK to me, and United should have had a penalty late on. And Jones was lucky to stay on the pitch, IMO.

Wigan play some really good football; I hope they stay up, but as you say, not a good night for Bolton fans. The two I'd like to see go down (but there was never any real chance of it) are Stoke and Villa.

yeezus.

Annoyed that City 4-0, I thought West Brom might sneak something, but it seems their good away form may be fading.

Can't believe United lost at Wigan, I really can't. Title race back on, sadly. Still United's to lose but no hiding the fact tonight's defeat is a big blow. Come on Fergie and sort it. There's still five to play!
