Man Utd 1-0 QPR - the definition of a "soft" penalty.

Sylar
08-04-2012, 01:24 PM
Truly a farcical decision. Not only was Young offside, but it was a blatant dive from Young and as a result, QPR are both a goal and a man down.

Just seen it on the red button.

Cheats. Young is one too. Hardly surprising. Patrick was right again oh dear.

Man Utd 2-0 QPR - decent strike from Scholes.

The result of QPR being screwed over by the referee and his linesman.

They would have won anyway.

8 point gap. City don't win today and it's effectively over.

Seen on Sky this morning that United have the chance to beat the best premier league points total this season.

Not bad for an "average" United team :agree:

No doubt they would have won anyway, but it was a shocking decision from the officials.

Pretty sure they mentioned that last week during the Blackburn game on Monday - combination of Man Utd grinding out results and the others around them not being quite as good as previous seasons.

That would have been a screamer from Michael Carrick.

Well done the officials i say, along with the clowns at Stamford Bridge it makes my 4 team accumulator a winner, and a very good weekends betting.

If the ref's had done their jobs at Old Trafford (Last 2 games) the lead would be 4 points and Man City would still be in the Championship race.

Anyway, glad to see your home safe from the hibs game :agree:

Mancini seems to be doing a lot of face-to-face coaching with his players from the touchline. I thought that was against the rules!

Ref must have not seen it but I'd be surprised if there isn't a ban issued later this week.

The referee's view might have been obstructed, but the 4th official and linesman certainly had a clear line of sight to it.

Wouldn't be surprised if the FA do indeed give him a 3 match ban. Thug.

He's a liability.

His attitude over recent weeks and challenges like that show Mourinho had him spot on.

Shocking challenge.

Strange that those so keen to condemn the refereeing at Old Trafford earlier are conspicuous by their absence now.

I had 7/2 as well.

Put it on almost right after the 1-6 game. Too may folk, including the bookies it seems, looked at the result and not what actually happened in the game. 7/2 seemed just too good to turn down. Only had £40 but still a tidy return considering what the prixe has been lately.

Sorry if you need your Manchester fix join a I love Manchester message board. Not watched the Man city game to be honest.

We all know the game I did watch was the end of involved a shocking decision, funny enough it was the 2nd in 2 games in Manchester. Hardly a surprise though.

Plus if you ever get to Manchester let me know I'll recommend a couple of places to visit, might involve you getting the train out though. Cheers.

If I had to pick an English Team to support, it would probably be Man City, liked them for years.

But, really that is :faf: worthy

Great line about the red card. "Mancini now thinking about selling Balotelli. He should have gone for A Song, but eventually went for B Sagna."

Poor management by Mancini to leave him on though. And Man City will need at least two, probably three strikers in the summer with Tevez also likely to depart, Dzeko not contributing and Adebayor out of favour.
