Scotland Women play Ireland on Thursday at Tynecastle (I know it's not our favourite stadium!) in a Euro 2013 qualifier which should see a good turn out with several bus loads of fans being taken to the game from different parts of Scotland and should be a close game.

Women's football is really improving in Scotland and there are players in the squad who have been involved with Hibs Women and Spartans Women's Team - the local Edinburgh Women's clubs - while other clubs represented include Arsenal and Glasgow City.

National Coach Anna Signeul - talks about the improvement in the Women's Game in this Scotsman article -

If you haven't been to a Women's game before I think you will be surprised with the quality and the effort the team gives.

Bump -

Great evening for football - get along and cheer on the team especially if you have never been to a game before - you will be pleasantly surprised with the standard.

Estimated crowd about 3000 - should be pretty easy getting in and out and should be a good atmosphere.
