Has Pat Fenlon started to generate signs of improvement by at least holding our own against weaker opposition?

That bodes well for the semi and post split games. Now we've got a bit of breathing space hopefully the players can relax a little bit and properly show us what they can do.

Good stuff, definitely an improvement :agree:

Any coincidence that it's been 3 months since Fenlon came in :aok:

Great stat. and largely overlooked!

Hopefully this is the catalyst to go forward and end the season much better than last and the start of this season.

Pat the man for me!

Now if only we could arrange for some of them to play us in the remaining rounds of the Cup...

It's hardly league winning form, but the priority for a team in our position is to take points off the teams around us. Therefore, it's certainly an encouraging anlysis.

If you were offered 'best of the bottom six' in early December would you have taken it ?

I think these are telling stats representative of the steady improvement we've seen under Fenlon - we are now competing strongly with the teams around us whereas before we always looked likely to get humped by them. It's the sort of improvement which should ensure our SPL survival - over the summer I would hope to see the sights raised to competing in the top 6 rather than the bottom.

Far better than being 'the worst of the worst' as under Clueless Colin

I'd have taken second worst of the bottom six back then. Take my sarcasm and cynicism with a pinch of salt. I'm as grateful as the next one to see a shimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

Without checking, were we ever in that position? I think not.

First rule of being a Hibernian Supporter; Never let a lie get in the way of a good hibs slagging contest

Absolute nonsense and an example of the revisionism that's taking hold on here. We were 9th (and a point behind Dundee Utd) with a better points per game ratio than currently when Calderwood was sacked.
