Followed the link on the U19s thread to see the HTV highlights and spotted that they had archive footage of the Sochaux UEFA Cup game, both home and away.

Younger (and older) Hibbies must take a look. The second leg in particular (at a time when the side was on the wane - goodness knows what they would do to the current lot) is a great example of two good sides knocking the ****** out of each other!

Yeah - Hibs TV also has the first leg at ER - brilliant watching some of the attacking verve and some choice tackling by Blackley, Bremner - Great goal from Brownlie and nice too to see Shades running up the park full pelt and making a long pass to another Hibs player - something obviously beyond our current full backs...

If I recall rightly it was just games involving the OF that were shown in colour back then...:rolleyes:
