I thinks it's safe to say that Tommy Hearns beat him in their 1989 re-match too :agree:

Tommy Hearns! What a puncher. The Hitman!
Would have been right up there with the all time greats if his chin hadn't been like fine bone china. Still close which says everything.
As for Leonard, arguably the most technically accomplished boxers ever, he could do everything and his hand speed was frightening. A total showman into the bargain.
Unfortunately another who struggled to come to terms with his career being over and a couple of ill advised comebacks spoiled his record a bit. Thankfully he seems to have won his most important battles outside the ring. A fighter I never tire of watching over and over again.

Tommy Hearns! What a puncher. The Hitman!murderous punching power, thought he killed duran, and no one did what he did to pipino cuevas when he won the title. but tommy was a very decent man too, when he knocked out james shuler to win the us title , shuler tragically died in a motorbike accident a week later , at the funeral hearns handed the belt back to shulers wife and family saying they should have it.another all time great
