If Mcpake stays fit and available to us I think we will be fine, if not it will be difficult. I cant think of a more important player for us at the moment.

I agree, the only player with leadership qualities, hopefully can get himself fit sooner than later. Would love to see him in the team permanently

One of the few positives from a shocker of a season has been the contribution made by McPake. Hope to God he's fit and in the side on Sunday.

McPake has added a bit of quality at the back that we haven't had for a few years now. We need him if we are do well in the cup / stay up.

Let's hope he is fit from now until may!

what's the latest on him and will he likely make Sunday?

with the pars at tannadice, we need to try and extend our gap this weekend if we can......

If the team are travelling up on the Sunday morning I would send Mcpake up on the Saturday and book him in to a hotel.I think it might be better for his back than a three hour coach journey just before the game.

I would imagine they'll go up on Sat, they had Monday off, so training all week, then up to Inverness or somewhere on Sat, then a short trip onto Inverness on Sunday

That's just asking for a night in Jonny Foxes! :greengrin

Yip, McPake, along with Booth, are about the only players I'd definitely keep out of that whole squad.

He has his injury problems, but at least he'll give 100% and not do a disappearing act or take the easy option like most of the players.

I agree with the op. our defence is gash without mcpake! Hanlon and co can't organise a defence. Mcpake back should see u win enough points to stay up and maybe even win us the cup hail hail
