Anyone see Pat on STV news at 6.15. Not a happy man with the media, told the reporter straight talk about the Utd game or that's it over.

Was on SSN earlier as well. Fuming about the Griffiths story, told them he had been straight up with the press since he had came and for a paper to print a story like that as fact without background checks was "disgusting".

Saw that, got to say I'm impressed very Alex Fergusonesque.

I like how the guy comes across just hope he can get the team to have the same spirit.

The Evening News reported the story without talking to Hibs as well, typical.

Anyone seen if the Daily Mail has run a retraction and apology today?

This is reminiscent of JCs 'talk about hibs or dont talk at all' policy at press conferences. Don't mess with Pat Fenlon likesay.

On another note, it says at the bottom of the link that McPake is doubtful for Saturday, not good news.

Did not see it, but glad he gave a straight 'shut your trap' response to them. The media in this country is intrested in only one thing getting our game in the paper for all the wrong reasons.....they rattle on about the old firm game promoting it like it is a kick, punt and general fight match rather than promoting it as the/one of the biggest derby games in the world. Whilst the whole time sitting in a dark room foaming at the mouth about the EPL and wondering how they can get themselves down the road to cover league 2 games.

You tell them Pat.

It's really refreshing to see most of us are supporting Pat Fenlon because to be honest....we need be supporting this guy 110%.

Hibs have improved under him and will continue to do so if we stick with him.

:agree:

Of all the things that have come out this week, McPake being missing would undoubtedly be the most harmful to our chances of success on Saturday.

The problem with that is that they won't believe him unless it's made clear to them that Petrie and Farmer back him up.

I don't think they do.

THAT's the problem at ER. The manager isn't the boss.
