St Mirren get a free kick on the halfway line, but had a penalty claim turned down for exactly the same foul in the area.

It's quite irrational for a Hibby to want the Jambos to reach the final by beating Celtic (which they won't fotunately). If we are able to win our semi I think we would stand more chance against Celtic. What's more, there is some consolation in a defeat from Celtic, unlike the unbearable misery of a cup final defeat from them. C'mon the Buddies.

Given that he scored, then he didnt prevent the goal scoring chance.

The ref is the one who prevented it, and therefore should give himself the red card.:cb

According to Andy Walker, Craig (I haven't received a bean from the yams yet) Beattie is doing a good job for them.

Maybe everyone should sign players and not pay them.

Your logic about Celtic's infalibility in a second final is as misplaced as the notion that we presently could beat the Jambos in a cup final. On balance a final against Celtic and the consequence of defeat is surely more attractive.

Does it not just sum Hibs up the now that we're discussing who we'd rather lose to in a cup final we're not even in yet!?

Personally, there is no team I would rather win the cup against than the Yams. Celtc or the bankrupts would be next on the list.

It is no wonder we get beat if this is the mentality of Hibbys. On any given day we could beat anyone in Scotland. I have witnessed many improbable results from Hibs when we have won against all odds and logic.

Is that the JT's in the semi's too? You can't tell by the noise from here denying what went on at the dairy farm today (please bite).

Before you go nuts about our debts and signing players we can't pay, playing guys we have pumped full of drugs, and getting away with dodgy decisions for them tonight let's just turn attention to Saturday...Utd on top form and Dunf up against a team in seriously bad form....it could be a 1 point gap...squeaky bum time. I bet Yorkston signed JJ with the words "catch them".... :-)

I hope you stay up. But I hope you stay up because you deserve it...

Personally I don't care what Hearts do or don't do, I don't mean that as a slight in any way I just put my emotions into supporting Hibs.
I'm sure JJ wil make a difference to Dunfermline but I'm not sure he really has the time to save them. maybe that's more hope.
1 point ahead at the end of the season will be enough so I'll hope for at least that which is a dire end to (another) dire season.
My hope is we get to the final and having put out Cowdenbeath and Ayr United, Aberdeen must surely be a push over (cough).

I would suggest Yorkston said 'save us'.

Just watching the highlights of the everton-arsenal game.....how did the linesman manage to call Everton offside for that goal? Shocking decision. He was easily a couple of foot on side. Very poor call.
