Someone asked me at work - hadn't thought bout it - hadn't seen the question before. Anyway could - the massive high make up for the low, didn't think it would.

I think so. Get the monkey off our back, Europe and I'm almost certain we would come straight back up.

I would definitely take that risk over another nothing season with little prospect of anything but the same, next season.

And once again my answer is no, I wouldn't take the cup in exchange for relegation. FFS Hibs should always be top six, and being eleventh in the SPL is harrowing enough. Relegation could put us back years, with no guarantee of immediate promotion. I'd even prefer to lose the final against Hearts (please God no) than win it and be relegated.
