In old-style parlance, one needed a cathedral to be a city. In that light, Elgin is. So is Brechin.

The government got rid of all the old-style cities in the mid-1970s with a local government reorganisation (when the old regional councils came in). This left only the statutorily defined four cities. Stirling, Inverness and Perth have been added as cities since then for various landmark dates (royal anniversaries and the millennium).

FK9 obviously being the one of choice (unless of course one has decamped to FK4)
Anyway, back to Perth. We been at a game there together since Muirton? :greengrin:aok:

Think that was the last time I was at a game in Perth with yours truly!
I've been to McDiarmid a few times to see the cabbage.
Nice and easy to get especially as I'm now living in FK15!
