RUBY was the name of the Stan James Champion Hurdle winner, just not Ruby Walsh as was widely expected, as Rock On Ruby sprung an 11-1 surprise on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival and left Walsh’s hotly-fancied mount Hurricane Fly, the 4-6 favourite, back in third.
