Another good finish v WBA

:agree:
Not the best strike, but it ended up where it should - back of the net.

Interplay and passing in the build up was pretty sweet.

Great effort from Fletch, both in the build-up and the finish.

Currently watching the Wolves v WBA game. Fletcher's a class act and he just scored a cracking equaliser. This beggars the questions: When is that numpty Potter gonna bite the bullet and give a Scotland recall and also surely come summer he must surely be off to one of the bigger clubs in England or Europe.
Thoughts.

Just have a read at the multitude of threads on the subject every time he scores.

Ten goals this season, at least ten threads started about him!

Got to agree though, he's doing great. I'd love to see him get a move to one of the top clubs. I think he'd fit in no problem.

His movement in leading up to that goal was first class.

Levein MUST sort this nonsense out now for the sake of the country.

Actually think he's having a poor game, goal aside.

Scotland have much better strikers:rolleyes: Just do not ask me to name them :greengrin

Glad he is doing well.

He defended the corner well on the first half, sometimes you don't need to do a huge amount to make an impact

Although Baggies just scored again

Look on the bright side, if when McCarthy gets the sack, his successor might be daft enough to give Doherty away.

Odds that Potter still picks Berra despite a) getting dropped and b) producing shambolic performances like that?

Hanley and Caldwell should be first choice. Potter will persist with Berra though.

I wouldn't rule Aston Villa out of the relegation battle, as there's a few clubs below them currently picking up more points.

Just got home from rugby. Manchester city on top. Playing some good stuff.

Can anyone confirm if this Manchester side managed to shake everyone's hand before the game?

Man City mascot blatently ignored the Villa mascot.
City wont issue an apology though. outrageous. Someone think of the kids!

Shocking jonty. I mean how dare the Manchester city players jump around after they have just scored. They should have turned round and not offended anyone.

You got anything Hibs related to say today?

How did the team play yesterday? Did the pitbull play well? What about the Gambian Roberto Carlos?

Terrible. and Lescott being a villa fan.
Never mind - i'm sure City can stop off and buy a cup from the same dealer Chelsea got one from.

I reckon both the Hibs players would have scored the chance to put man city ahead. I have every faith in them. Both good players.

I actually think Nish might have put it away.

How many fouls did this guy commit today and still not booked.

As for the last place I think it could be anyone of Blackburn, Bolton, QPR, Aston Villa and West Brom.

How bad were Villa? Thier fans must be annoyed as they never really give it a go.

I'm listening to McLeish in disbelief - he seems to think they played really well and were unlucky! One of the most negative home performances I've ever seen - shocking.

McLeish looks more than capable of managing an astounding 4th career relegation.

I wouldn't dismiss the idea of QPR going down.

It certainly looks at the moment like it's going to be 3/5 that are going to go down.

QPR, Wolves, Blackburn, Bolton and Wigan are all deep in trouble. Although they're currently in one of the relegation spots, I actually fancy Blackburn to get themselves safe.

I think the three will be Wigan, Wolves and QPR.
