Went to see this film yesterday. Liam Neeson delivers yet another excellent performance, without having much dialogue at all. Bit of a controversial ending, but fair play to the director for trying something different. Well worth a watch.

I saw this film the other night. I thought it was excellent and very gripping, and I really liked the ending, not the usual Hollywood drivel, but also redemptive, albeit in a roundabout way. Most of all, it wore its atheist credentials on its sleeve and didn't cop out with the usual mentally ill/scared embracing of god and religion.

However, my one criticism is that, in some places, the wolves looked as if they'd been gathering dust in the props cupboard since the 80's and their last airing at An American Werewolf in London. I'm a defiantly 80's retro man, but even I baulked at such shoddy effects.
