Depends how close you're trying to get. I'd stick with any side street off Leith Walk as permit parking and pay and display bays don't operate on a Saturday.

You will get parked at Lochend no problem. One less car there as i cant make it due to wee girls 10th birthday party

Tesco car park at bottom of ER is pretty handy and hassle free.

The new flats on lochend rd where the old sunblest factory was, and if your heading back to Halifax efter the game, ideal for getting back to the A1.
